The year 2005 has been a tremendous year for the Tamil film industry. Many innovative achievements have been made this year. We have chosen 10 movies to be the top ten movies for the year 2005. Chandramukhi takes the first place, Sivakaasi takes the second place, Anniyan the third, Ghajini in the fourth place, Thirupatchi in the fifth place, Ayya in the sixth place, Manmadhan in the seventh place, M.Kumaran-S/O Mahalakshmi in the eighth place, Arinthum Ariyaamalum in place nine and Ullam Ketkume in the tenth place.
