Actor Vadivelu was awarded the Vocational Excellence Award by the Rotary Club of Madras Central, along with the clubs of Madras T. Nagar and Chennai East R.A. Puram at a function held at Chennai on Saturday (18 th March, 2007).
Ace director Bharathiraja presented the award to actor Vadivelu. Comedy clips of Vadivelu with actors Rajinikanth, Parthiban and many others were screened at the function.
Many VIPs, including Abirami Mega Mall's Abirami Ramanathan, Rotary Club presidents Vinod Sarogi, V. Vasudevan and P. Srinivasan took part in the function.
