Ilayathalapathi Vijay’s recent hit was Sivaakasi. Nearing the release of this movie, Vijay celebrated Deepavali at Sivakasi with the villagers and his fans. He is to celebrate Pongal in a village called Nemam near Chennai. Vijay took time to interact with the women and he even tried harvesting crops. Suriya celebrated Pongal in his native Sulur near Coimbatore. He interacted with the villagers and displayed his skills in making Pongal.
