Vijaykant has lodged a complaint against A.M. Rathinam with the Tamil Film Producers' Council.
According to Vijaykant, he has not been paid his dues for the film Dharampuri, so a sum of about 85 lakhs is still due to him from Rathinam, the film's producer.
He said that the producer had promised to pay the money before the release of his next film, Bheema. The actor could not get in touch with the producer and now has requested the council to intervene in the matter.
Tamil Film Producers' Council president Rama Narayanan has held discussions with Rathinam.
