Vishal's next movie will be Malaikottai with Trisha. Ajay, who produced the movie Something Something Unakkum Enakkum, will be producing this movie under the banner Lakshmi Productions.
Due to some unavoidable reasons, Sathyam movie shooting was not started as scheduled. Trisha is supposed to play the female in that movie. As Sathyam shooting was not started, she has given dates for Vishal starrer Malaikottai .
Bhoopathy Pandian of Thiruvilaiyadal Arambam fame will be directing this movie. The shooting of this movie is to start in the first week of May. Mani Sharma scores music.
