Abbas, once a popular face in Tamil cinema, has proved his mettle in Tollywood.
His latest Telugu film is opposite the talented Tabu. In the film Abbas plays the role of a journalist. The film directed by Chandra Siddhartha has Abbas and Tabu playing a married couple.
The film also marks Tabu's comeback to South Indian Cinema after a long time. Tabu's last film, Namesake (English) by Mira Nair, won her rave reviews.
Abbas is currently shooting for Sadhu Mirandaa with Prasanna and Kavya Madhavan.
Abbas and Tabu have earlier worked together in the hit films Kaadhal Desam and Kandukondein Kandukondein.
