Parthiban's Pudhiya Padhai was a big hit that became a trendsetter. Besides the feeling of victory that it earned for the makers, it has also left some nice memories for audiences to linger on.
Khusbu recalled one such moment recently at the inaugural function of Parthiban’s latest project Vallamai Thaaraayo. When Pudhiya Padhai was in the making, Parthiban wanted to cast Khusbu as the film's heroine. But since Khusbu's Tamil was not very fluent at that time, Parthiban chose Seetha for the role. Khusbu recalled the episode and asked Parthiban why he is still not considering her for a role in his films when her Tamil diction is fine.
That gives us a glimpse of the film world that is full of long-term associations and close friendships. Whether Parthiban offers her a role or not, their friendship will continue, marked by such heart-warming episodes and good-natured exchanges.
