Finally, the Vaaranam Aayiram team can heave a sigh of relief. The team, currently in the US, were in for a shock when they learnt that a couple of reels that were sent to Chennai went missing.
Director Gautham Menon had sent those reels to Chennai for post-production work through his production managers but they were found missing when the production managers landed in Chennai.
Thankfully, they were found safely at Singapore airport. Apparently, the debacle had occurred due to a mix-up at the airport when the production managers had taken their connection flight to Chennai from Singapore.
Vaaranam Aayiram sees Surya coming together with director Goutham Menon for the second time after the critical and commercial success of Kaakha Kaakha. Bollywood heartthrob Sameera Reddy is paired opposite Surya in this film produced by Oscar Films.
