Fromer glam queen Simran is back. She has reportedly been signed up for a film to be produced by director Bala opposite popular comedian Karunas.
The untitled movie is said to be a remake of the Malayalam flick Vadakku Nokki Yanthram that had Malayalam comedian-scriptwriter Sreenivasan playing the lead role. The story revolves around an ordinary man who marries a pretty woman and the changes that follow in their lives.
Karunas, who was introduced by Bala in Nandha, is totally excited about this project. He is the latest addition to the list of comedians turning heroes. Hope he too succeeds big time like Vadivelu, who rocked the box office with his Imsai Arasan 23am Pulikesi.
