N.K. Vishwanathan, who is producing this film, had been requesting Ilaiyaraja to pay a visit to one of his film shootings; NKV and Ilaiyaraja are very good friends and have worked together in innumerable films. The maestro could not say no to his friend's request; thus he visited the sets of Jaganmohini in Madurai and witnessed the filming of a song he composed.
Every one in the unit was pleasantly surprised, worked with extra energy and completed the song before the decided schedule.
