Radha Mohan melted our hearts and touched our souls with the beautiful romance Mozhi that starred Jyotika, Prithviraj and Prakashraj. The movie saw several housefull shows for months on end. Radha Mohan followed it up with yet another lilting tale, Abhiyum Naanum, this time focussing on the lovely bond a father and daughter share. Once again, he struck a chord with the audience. Both movies were produced by Prakashraj’s Duet Movies, and his next, Payanam, is also being made under the same banner. However, with Payanam, Radha Mohan touches a brand new genre in cinema. This movie, starring Nagarjuna, is a suspense thriller and is likely to be made in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. Guhan, who is the cinematographer for the movie, was also behind the camerawork in Radha Mohan’s previous two ventures. Guhan, who has himself directed a movie Inidhu Inidhu for Duet Movies, insists he has developed a special bond with the production house and hopes to do more films with it.
