After revolutionizing home entertainment, Moser Baer forayed into filmmaking. Looking at the subject of its films and the content, one can only say it is all set to revolutionize the film industry now. Pretty soon, we will get to see two beautiful films from Moser Baer – Raman Thediya Seethai (with Cheran) and Poo (starring Srikanth and Parvathy). Apart from these films, Moser Baer is also making Puthiya Vaarpugal (Shanthnoo) and Aval Peyar Tamizharasi (Jai).
All these movies are attractive, but Poo stands out for its unique storyline which traces the hardship, aspirations and dreams of a downtrodden and ignored sector of the society, the persons who labour in firework factories. The film, based on a book by Tamil Chelvan, stars Srikanth and Parvathy (who acted in noteworthy Malayalam films like Flash and Notebook). There is no doubt that with Poo, Parvathy will establish herself in Kollywood, such is her performance in the film.
September 12th will witness the audio release of this beautiful film. According to Dhananjayan, CEO of Moser Baer, the audio release function will be held at Sathyam Cinemas at 9:30 a.m.
The music of Poo, which is its highlight, has been composed by S.S. Kumaran, a musically-inclined student of Adayar Film institute. Lyrics are by Na. Muthukumar.
