It has been 30 years since the inception of Film Producers’ Council. On July 18, 2008, a function was held to celebrate this occasion. The stalwarts who started this council – A.V.M. Murugan, Valamburi Somanathan and Muktha V. Srinivasan – were felicitated in this function organised by Ramanarayanan and his team, current office-bearers of the Producers’ Council.
