AVM, a name that has endeared itself to millions of cine-goers, now proudly announces the launch of its 162nd feature film "GEMINI". This event assumes significance as its marks the resumption of feature film production by AVM after a long interval of 5 years. "Gemini" will star Vikram the action hero who featured in 'Sethu' and 'Dil'. Kiran making her debut on the Tamil screen will play the female lead. The film will be directed by Saran who has also taken on the responsibility for the story, screenplay and dialogues. SARAN plans to use an unusual backdrop of an evening college around which the story is woven. He and his team will ensure that the script, screenplay and dialogues are completed and all the songs are recorded before commencing shooting in mid-December. The film is slated for release in April 2002.Kalabhavan Mani and Murali (of Malayalam cinema fame) will feature in the star cast. Bharadwaj scores the music to lyrics penned by Vairamuthu. Art direction by Thota Tharani will be complemented by the camera work by A.Venkatesh with Suresh Urs editing the film. "GEMINI" is produced by M. Saravanan, M. Balasubramanian, M. S. Guhan & B.
