Shaam (Shaam), Ehshaan (Arya), Pooja (Laila), Priya (Asin) and Irene (Pooja) are friends who gather for the wedding of Ehshaan.
The movie begins with a flashback, all recollecting their college days.
Ehshaan, a popular cricket player in the college falls in love with Irene, an Anglo-Indian. So does Shaam with Priya while Pooja develops a soft corner for Shaam.
Priya, a girl from an orthodox family refuses to accept Shaam's love while Pooja, coming to know of Shaam's interest in Priya, conceals her desire. Ehshaan gets dropped from the college cricket team because rather than scoring runs, he spent his time running behind Irene. She picked a fight with him, asked him to forget her and achieve success in cricket. So Ehshaan attempted suicide but later resolved to fight his way back into the team.
After several years, they all have gathered for Ehshaan's wedding. Ehshaan is a cricketer in the Indian team.
Shaam who is still unmarried misses Pooja, who is settled in USA. Pooja makes a last minute entry and the rest is all about Pooja and Shaam meeting each other again and falling in love.
Laila, from the bubbly pig-tailed college girl to the mature lady, gives a good account and walks away with the applause. Everyone in the cast has been at total ease in front of the camera and credit goes to Jeeva for his direction. The youthful peppy film with Harris Jeyaraj's music and the director's brilliant visuals is a film aimed for the youth and those who are young at heart. Except for the clich閐 ending, the film is a feather in the cap for Jeeva. This film might be the comeback of Shaam. It is hard to believe that this film is the debut film for Arya, Asin and Pooja who are totally at ease in front of the camera.
