Vishal looks like a batsman ready to play an interesting match. Following the lukewarm response that his last release Satyam received, Vishal is getting back with verve to offer a sure hit. Thoranai, his upcoming film, has the right mix of comedy, romance, action and sentiment and is directed by Sabha Iyappan, who has worked with directors Viji, Shaji Kailash and Bhoopathi Pandian.

What is inThoranai?

Thoranai is the story of a young man who comes to the city in search of his lost brother. Without anybody to trust or help him in the new destination and absolutely no idea regarding the city folks' attitude towards a na飗e villager, the young man embarks upon his quest to find his sibling. Consequently he gets into a dangerous network of goons. Caught between two gangster heads Kishore and Prakashraj, Vishal is in a terrible mess. How he tries to escape from them and how he succeeds in his goal forms the story of Thoranai.

Thoranai pair

Shriya pairs with Vishal for the first time for Thoranai. The sizzling chemistry between them is the high point of the film. Song sequences are shot in different locales. 'Pattucha Pattucha' is shot in Ladhakh, 'Va Chellam' has been canned in Muttukkadu and 'Pelican Paravaigal' has been filmed in a grand set in Prasad Studios.

Thoranai highlights

Comedy will be the first highlight of Thoranai. Vishal is pairing up with Santhanam for the film. In one scene, Vishal and Santhanam appear as Lord Rama and his chief devotee Anjaneya. Camera, choreography and stunts are the other highlights of the feel-good film. For one chase scene, Shriya and Prakashraj fought from a height of 20 feet. In addition to all these, there is a whole team of actors who have played the supporting role in the film. Already, the songs are a super hit in Mani Sharma's music.
