Ultimate star Ajith's forthcoming movie is Kireedom. The successful pair Ajith and Trisha is back again for this movie after the success of Ji. Suresh Balaji is producing this movie under the banner Sujatha Cine Arts, in collaboration with Mumbai's Adlabs. 

Reportedly, this movie is based on the Malayalam actor Mohanlal's classic Kireedom. This Malayalam classic turned out to be a big hit. Raj Kiran is playing the affectionate father of Ajith in this movie. This movie's story is based on the father-son sentiment. Cute actress Trisha plays the lady love of Ajith. Actress Saranya plays the role of Ajith's mother. 

Ajith plays the role of an ordinary youngster, who aspires to fulfill his father's ambitions for him. Ajith put forth his best efforts to become a Police officer as his father desires. The sentiments between father and son become the highlight of this movie. Debutant Ajay Kumar plays the role of a villain. 

Vivek provides comic relief in this movie. The shooting of this movie was at Rajamundry, Vizag and Chennai. The major part of the shooting is over, and this movie is scheduled to be released on 1 st May, Ajith's birthday. 

The man behind the camera is Thiru. Editing is handled by Anthony. A.R. Rahman's nephew G.V. Prakash scores music for this movie. Choreography is handled by Dinesh.
