The stills of Kannaamoochi Enadaa display a picture-perfect family that thrives on happy relationships and thus provide a tempting prelude to the theme of the movie.

As the title indicates, the story of Kannaamoochi... revives a pragmatic question about the basic selfish and self-serving nature of individuals. It reveals people's true feelings, how they mask these feelings with their double-talk, the guises they put on to cover up their true nature. Kannaamoochi... attempts to find the reason behind all this, thereby producing a concoction of drama and sentiment, laced with humour and reason.

There is a sparkling star-cast in Kannaamoochi... In fact the movie has restarted yesteryear heroine Sripriya's career on the big screen. Radikaa and Sathyaraj, Sripriya and Manobala play senior couples in the movie. Then there are dashing Prithviraj and Sandya in the lead roles.

Priya V. has handled the story, screenplay, dialogues and direction. Priya, who is brilliant in casting, has proved her mettle through her earlier movie Kanda Naal Mudhal. Apparently, she is also good at dealing with interesting themes that are entertaining as well as convincing.

Major shooting of Kannaamoochi... has been carried out in Malaysia.

Kannaamoochi... is a Yuvan Shankar Raja musical and the audio release is on 23rd of August. The tunes of all the five songs are mesmerizing, supplemented by stunning lyrics by Thamarai. Remien is the art director and Super Subbarayan has choreographed the realistic stunts. Kalyan, Shobi and Lakshanya have choreographed the dances. M.S. Suriya, who worked with the award-winning editor Sreekar Prasad, is the editor.

Radaan Mediaworks and UTV have produced the film.
