In the Kollywood chart, Sabari is yet another movie about gangsters. Vijaykanth plays the role of a doctor. He helps the police department in capturing a dreadful criminal.
The encounter between the police and the criminal ends in the loss of the criminal's life. This incident makes the criminal's brother Vajravelu (Pradeep Rawat) angry with Dr. Sabari (Vijayakanth).
He decides to take revenge. The rest of the screenplay is about who survives, Dr. Sabari or Vajravelu?
Nandhini (Jyothirmayi) and Malavika get inspired by Dr. Sabari and fall in love with him. Malavika is a house surgeon in the Chennai government hospital where Dr. Sabarivasan is a Senior Cardiologist.
Like a typical heroine, Nandhini gets inspired by the actions of Dr. Sabari.
Even though the story of this movie looks like similar Vijayakanth movies, the fast moving screenplay of this movie is a plus.
Vijayakanth has delivered lengthy dialogues penned by Pattukkottai Prabhakar. The stunts are another strong point of the movie.
Mani Sharma's music has come out well. The movie is sure to please the fans of Vijayakanth.
