THE TECHNIQUE
Perfomances
The show stealer is Namitha. Apart from glamour she has proved herself as a good actor. Nila looks gorgeous in traditional wear and her acting is also good. Raja, who has the opportunity to romance two south beauties has done a very good job. Kota Srinivasa Rao's as the tantrik gets into the skin of the character.
Music: Illayaraja
The songs are average. They were not like his songs in 80's which ruled the music charts.
Direction: K.S. Viswanathan
Remaking a blockbuster movie is not a simple task. But Viswanathan has managed to do a decent job, but the graphics are not up to the mark. He could have experimented with the story too. The director had a very right choice in casting Namitha is really good.
VERDICT
The film can be watched once for Namitha.
